Very silent and quite powerful when circulating cool air. It is very sleek and fits in my living room very well.

this was the cheapest 40 inch fan I could find, when it arrived, the packaging weren’t all that great, nor is the actual fan housing/base itself, but the fan works very well, nice n soft breeze, timer control and everything

I bought this fan for those days that were just not hot enough to turn on the AC or not cold enough to sleep without some cooling. Because I needed it for my bedroom, I was willing to pay extra for a quiet fan. After some research on Amazon and other sites, I could not find any sort of index or grade system by the manufacturers or sellers that would allow for comparing how quiet different fans were. So I took a risk with this model. After almost 2 years, I can say that I am very satisfied with it. I only use it on the lowest speed; it generates enough air flow for me. The noise at this setting is also minimum and I can easily sleep with it. Moreover, I do not think that the noise from the second and third speeds is very much different than from the lowest one. The remote control is excellent and an exercise in simplicity. Overall, I am very satisfied with this fan and I hope to continue with it for several more years.

We picked up this model early last fall at an end-of-season clearance sale. It has worked perfectly as a staionary and as an oscillating fan. This fan has defintely earned its keep this long, hot summer, and I’m picking up another one for additional cooling throughout the house next summer. Highly recommended.

The fan is quiet, works well and is unobtrusive. We particularly love the small footprint. A remote’s even included, though we have no need.

I was disappointed to see the day after I purchased this, it went down almost 20.00. I called Amazon and they made it right and gave me the difference quite promptly. Now back to the product; this fan works excellent and cools even big areas. I love the remote control feature with timer as well. I plan to purchase another soon.

I ordered the lasko fan and it came in six days. Although there were some adverse comments about the fan on the seller’s site, I ordered it anyway. I have used it only for a month, but so far, it has worked great. It has saved using our window air conditioner numerous times.

We got this fan for my wife’s “snuggery,” a converted porch that’s long and narrow, and has a window AC at the far end. Even with a ceiling fan, the place gets warm in the summer sun (the unshaded end of the house, for sure), and the AC is too far away to really help much. The fan takes up so little space that we can place it midway from the AC to the loveseat where she sits to knit and watch TV, and the cooling effect is pronounced, all without giving up much space (or sacrificing another window to an AC).

It’s perfect for what it’s made for, quiet, efficient, and small in footprint. We like it a lot.
